The Director of Enterprise Sales is responsible for closing new logo opportunities of Degreed’s Learning Experience and Skills Platform in the enterprise space. This is an individual contributor role, solely focused on new business, ideally located in the Central or Western US.
Day in the Life
- Meet and exceed all quarterly and annual sales quotas
- Develop and manage a strategic territory business plan
- Create and drive revenue within a specified region
- Develop relationships with multiple personas across all product sales
- Generate leads from tradeshows and regional networking events
- Possess a full understanding of customers’ specific decision-making and purchasing process
- Develop and manage pipeline activity and monitor sales activity against assigned quotas
- Acquire and integrate industry knowledge related to general trends, emerging technologies, and competitors
- Deliver compelling presentations across a wide variety technology
- 25% Travel
- Other duties as assigned
Who You Are
- 7+ years of new logo enterprise software sales (SaaS) experience
- A proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Passionate and confident describing the value of Degreed’s solutions
- Confident managing large, complex deals with Enterprise accounts.
- Comfortable working both independently & as part of a team in a fast pace, rapidly changing environment
- Exceptional professional presence and business acumen, selling and influencing at the “C” suite
What Sets You Apart
- Strong preference for Learning or Human Capital Technology experience
- Previous experience with value based sales methodology
Compensation and Benefits at Degreed
Degreed is passionate about pay transparency and we are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is $120,000 – $150,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.

Work Environment & Physical Demands
Degreed is a remote-first company, however our roles are open to in-office or hybrid if you live in a city with a physical office location. This role has the opportunity to operate 100% virtually from your home office. We primarily collaborate with our US and International colleagues through virtual meetings (Zoom), email, and Slack. In this role, you will be required to operate a laptop computer, computer software platforms, and other office productivity machinery as necessary. Due to the nature of this role, you must be able to remain stationary for extended periods, and must be able to observe and interpret written and/or verbal communication.
