We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Web Analyst to join our team. As a Senior Web Analyst, you will be responsible for managing our web tracking platform, analysing web traffic and user behaviour to provide valuable insights that will drive business decisions and optimise our online presence. This role requires a deep understanding of web analytics and a strong ability to interpret and communicate data effectively.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement measurement strategies and ensure accurate data collection and reporting.
- Collaborate with internal product and development teams to ensure web tracking tools and web assets are updated and configured correctly to ensure correct tracking in line with business needs and expectations.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of website performance, traffic patterns, and user behavior using web analytics tools and feedback results to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Identify opportunities for website optimization and provide recommendations based on data analysis and best practices.
- Monitor industry trends and stay up-to-date with best practices in web analytics and digital marketing.
- Collaborate with Data Analysts to ensure that relevant reports and dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and track progress against goals are created, maintained and made available to relevant stakeholders.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years experience as a Web Analyst working in an industry dependent on Web Traffic optimization, such as Affiliate Marketing.
- Proven experience as a web analyst with a track record of delivering actionable insights and driving business growth.
- Expert knowledge of a range of web analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics.
- Excellent Javascript skills, with a demonstrated ability to create Javascript snippets to support web tracking endeavors adhering to coding best practices.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Solid understanding of digital marketing and online advertising concepts and metrics.
