As our Tableau Engineer, you’ll have an impactful role helping our team make data-driven business decisions. In your partnership, you’ll work closely with our Lead BI Engineer to gain a deep understanding of complex data sets and use that understanding to create visually appealing and insightful dashboards & reports for one of our top clients.
To thrive in this role, you will work with Tableau and Microsoft (Azure) SQL Server to create efficient data models, build new reports, modify existing reports, and use data storytelling to help answer questions from internal and external stakeholders.
This position is a temporary role through December 2024.

REQUIRED SKILLS
- Collaboration. You will collaborate with team members and stakeholders to develop and document requirements for reports, visualizations, and dashboards.
- Analytical and solution oriented. You are comfortable estimating required effort for the development of new reports and modification/optimization of existing reports. You will coordinate deployment of new reports, dashboards, workbooks with engineering team.
- System proficiency. You prior experience working with Tableau or SQL. You will prepare data with SQL/Tableau to meet reporting requirements and build intuitive and visually appealing data visualizations using Tableau and present reports and visualizations to the team. Extra points if you certified in Tableau (Tableau Server Certified Associate, etc.)
- Communication. You can effectively collaborate with stakeholders, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of reporting requirements, uncovering hidden needs, and guiding stakeholders to ask the right questions for optimal data insights.
